Survey's show that slightly more than 50% of American's make a Last Will & Testament but many of them are hopelessly out of date. Additionally, many who do have a Will, never stop to consider how a simple designation, just one short paragraph, can make one of their final actions on this earth to be a testimony of a benevolent heart, which touches others for years, even decades to come.

Sadly, many people view a Will in a negative light, because it's focus for them is death. A better view sees it as an instrument of continued influence, allowing one who has departed this life, to still impact the lives of family, friends, and even serve the Lord through a mission. This way, an otherwise negative issue, becomes a positive. The inevitable path of death (Hebrews 9:27) becomes a door, that when opened, continues a person's influence beyond the grave.

The Africa Christian Training Institute has worked in Uganda since 1983. Hundreds of believers have joined us in short-term mission trips over the years. Some have even become full-time missionaries. Many have made multiple trips and even in years when they did not return to Uganda, have continued to support specific projects such as helping build a church building, school buildings, homes for orphans, the drilling of deep well for clean, safe water, and many, many individual projects and needs. For example, with $100 we can put gutters on a house, purchase a water tank, and collect rain water for a family.

Making a Bequest to ACTI

When making or modifying your Will, simply ask your attorney to include a statement naming the African Christian Training Institute as the recipient of the specific gift you wish to make. (It can be a dollar amount, a percentage of some larger amount, stocks, bonds, etc. It is up to you).
