Each year, in late November we begin our annual project to provide Christmas baskets for poor and impoverished families in rural Ugandan villages. We do this in two specific villages where we have helped plant churches and the leadership of these churches help select the families to receive these baskets.

For 2020 the suggested donation amount is $25.00 per family which allows us to provide the following for a nice Christmas dinner and supplies for a week or so:

• 1 chicken (live)
• 1 kilogram of rice
• 1 kilogram of maize (corn) flour
• ½ kilogram of potatoes
• 1 liter of cooking oil
• 2 kilograms of sugar
• 1 loaf of bread
• 1 tub of Blue Band (margarine)
• All in a plastic dish pan that is used for months to come
