Paul wrote the following to Timothy: And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. 2 Timothy 2:2

One of the ways we fulfill this charge in a rural village setting is by placing useful tools (books) in the hands of village pastors who have little formal training and few resources. There is an entire library of books that could be on this list, but we can only take so much weight on an airplane. Therefore, we have this program of Five Good Books.

1. A good study Bible. We include two options. (1). Reformation Study Bible from Ligoneer Ministries, $25 or (2). the ESV Study Bible, $50.
2. Mathew Henry Commentary in one Volume, $20.
3. Systematic Theology by Louis Berkhorf, $25
4. Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms, $15
5. How to prepare sermons, by William Evans, $20

On any given day, you can find any of these books in used condition on sale on the Internet. If you would like to search for them from time to time, purchase them and have them shipped to me, I will be more than happy to take them to Uganda. If you would prefer to make a "5 Books donation" of $150.00, I will take care of getting the books myself and getting them to Uganda.
